3 Simple Steps to Softer Skin and Improved Circulation!

It is autumn now and a lot of people are getting cozy & warm inside after being in the cool elements most of the day. OR Maybe you are inside most of the time where it is warm and need some improvements on your dry, over-worked skin!

Here are 3 SIMPLE , EASY steps YOU can do to easily moisturize your skin and improve circulation!

Step #1: Dry Brushing!

Have you ever heard of this before? It is the act of brushing your skin while dry before showering.

Benefits of dry brushing:

Improved Circulation.

Diminishing the appearance of cellulite.

Helps tighten skin by increasing blood flow.

It also aids the lymphatic drainage of the entire body which helps to flush toxins out!

How to Dry Brush:

♦ First you will need a NATURAL bristled brush with a long handle. This is the one I purchased and use daily here. If you want to order one, go here to save $10 off of your first order!

♦ Skin brushing should be done once per day in the morning. If you are feeling under the weather, twice will help to move the toxins from your body!

♦ Start by brushing your skin in long sweeping strokes from the bottom of your feet upwards, hands towards the shoulders, and on the torso in an upward direction. Keep in mind to always brush towards the heart for proper blood circulation. Avoid sensitive skin & any areas where skin is broken or damaged.

♦ After brushing rinse off in the shower with warm water. Once per week incorporate a scrub down with my Organic Coconut Citrus Scrub!

Step #2 :  Exfoliation!

Exfoliation is the removal of surface skin cells that dull our complexion. This can be done to ANY part of the body that has exposed skin. Even those places that do not get exposed very often (think legs, knees, feet, elbows) need attention too!

Exfoliating reveals the supple, rosy skin underneath that is moisturized and not rough. This is best accomplished with a scrub like my Organic Coconut Citrus Scrub! Made with {Organic: Turbinado Sugar, Unrefined Fair Trade Raw Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Jojoba oil, Tangerine Essential Oil, and Hand Extracted Coconut Essence Oil} it is the best choice for a SCRUB as the sugar grains are rounded which helps to NOT scratch your skin, unlike salt grains which are square! This scrub is only good for the body as the grains are too rough to use on the face!

Step #3 : Moisturize!

Moisturizing should occur after your pores are open from washing and/or exfoliating. This ensures that the moisture loss that occurs after washing the skin is replenished.

The top layer of skin is susceptible to moisture loss ALL DAY! When you moisturize after washing when the pores are open, you allow the moisture to sink in deeper for a longer lasting softness! Any one of my Organic Lotions here would be great for all over moisture!
